Neuroscientific Contributions to Language Development in Early Childhood: A Perspective from Early Childhood Education

This study analyzes the contributions of neuroscience to language development in early childhood education, aiming to understand how brain, cognitive, and emotional processes interact during language acquisition. A systematic documentary review, analyzing twenty-one open-access articles published between 2021 and 2025. The results show that brain plasticity, multisensory stimulation, and positive emotional environments are key factors in consolidating early cognition and language. Furthermore, teacher training in neuroeducation enhances pedagogical planning and understanding of children’s learning processes. It is concluded that integrating neuroscience into early childhood curricula fosters more inclusive, human-centered, and evidence-based educational practices.
