Abstract

Educational didactics holds a strategic role in transforming contemporary teaching-learning models, especially in the context of active methodologies, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence in educational settings. This study aimed to analyze didactics as an articulating axis among planning, teacher mediation, student participation, and formative assessment. A documentary-bibliographic review was conducted using 15 verifiable scientific publications published between 2021 and 2026, organized through a compact analytical matrix. The results showed that educational transformation does not depend solely on incorporating innovative strategies, but on integrating them with pedagogical intentionality, curricular coherence, and contextual understanding. It is concluded that educational didactics constitutes a central mediation for strengthening meaningful learning, critical thinking, autonomy, and participation, provided that teachers assume a reflective, ethical role as designers of relevant formative experiences.
