La influencia de la motivación en el rendimiento académico de estudiantes de secundaria.

Resumen

El presente estudio aborda la relación entre la motivación y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de secundaria, considerando su relevancia en el desarrollo integral del adolescente. Mediante una revisión bibliográfica cualitativa, se analizaron investigaciones publicadas entre 2015 y 2024 en bases indexadas como Scopus y Web of Science. Los hallazgos indican que la motivación intrínseca, asociada al interés personal y a la autodeterminación, favorece un aprendizaje profundo y sostenido, mientras que la motivación extrínseca muestra efectos positivos limitados en el tiempo. Además, factores como la autoeficacia, el estilo docente y el apoyo familiar influyen significativamente en el fortalecimiento de la motivación. Se concluye que la motivación académica es un fenómeno complejo, determinado por interacciones personales y contextuales, cuya comprensión permite diseñar estrategias pedagógicas más eficaces, inclusivas y centradas en el estudiante.
