Abstract

The study addresses the problem of educational transformation at the high school level in the face of the growing inclusion of digital technologies in the teaching-learning processes. In response to contemporary pedagogical challenges, the objective was to analyze how the use of technological resources affects teaching practice and student academic performance. The research was developed under a quantitative approach with a non-experimental design and descriptive level, applying structured surveys to teachers of middle level educational institutions. The results showed a wide incorporation of digital tools, although with inequalities in their implementation due to factors such as teacher training and access to technological infrastructure. It is concluded that, although technology represents an opportunity to improve educational quality, its impact depends directly on the institutional context, the continuous training of teachers and the methodological adequacy of its use.
